Professional
Teeth Whitening

Dramatically brighter teeth in under 90 minutes — or at your own pace at home. Safe, effective, and supervised by your dentist.

Professional Whitening

Whiter Teeth,
Done Right

Over-the-counter whitening strips and toothpastes produce modest results at best. Professional whitening uses prescription-strength bleaching agents — either activated in-office with a special light, or used at home in custom-fitted trays — to break down deeply set stains that consumer products can't touch. The difference is dramatic and long-lasting.

  • Zoom! In-Office Whitening — up to 8 shades in 90 minutes
  • Custom Take-Home Trays — gradual whitening at your own pace
  • Combination Treatment — in-office kickstart + home maintenance
  • Whitening Touch-ups — maintenance kits for existing patients

Your Options

In-Office vs
Take-Home

Zoom! In-Office Whitening

The fastest option — a professional-strength bleaching gel is applied and activated by a Zoom! light. Most patients achieve 6–8 shades brighter in a single 90-minute appointment. Perfect for special occasions or patients who want instant results.

Custom Take-Home Trays

Custom-fitted trays made from impressions of your teeth. You apply professional-grade bleaching gel for 1–2 hours per day for 2–3 weeks. Results are comparable to in-office — just more gradual. The trays last for years and can be topped up with whitening gel as needed.

Why Professional

The Professional
Difference

Safe & Supervised

Professional whitening is administered and monitored by a dentist — far safer than unsupervised over-the-counter products.

Dramatically Effective

Our bleaching agents are 10–15x stronger than OTC products, reaching stains below the enamel surface.

Sensitivity Management

We pre-treat sensitivity-prone teeth and use desensitising agents to minimise any post-whitening discomfort.

Long-Lasting

Results last 1–3 years with simple maintenance. Touch-up kits available to maintain your shade.

The Process

What to Expect
Step by Step

01

Shade Assessment

We photograph and measure your current tooth colour using a shade guide to track your results.

02

Gum Protection

A barrier is applied to protect your gum tissue before the bleaching gel is applied.

03

Bleaching Treatment

Gel is applied and (for in-office) activated with a Zoom! light in three 15-minute cycles.

04

Results & Care Guide

Final shade is recorded and you receive instructions for maintaining your results.

FAQ

Common Questions

How long do whitening results last?

1–3 years typically. Coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco accelerate restaining. Annual touch-ups with take-home trays maintain your shade indefinitely.

Will whitening work on crowns or veneers?

No — whitening only affects natural tooth enamel, not dental restorations. If you have crowns or veneers on visible teeth, we'll discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.

Is whitening safe for sensitive teeth?

Yes, with the right approach. We pre-treat sensitive areas and use desensitising gel during and after treatment. The sensitivity is always temporary.
